But there are fears that too much water-based activity is having adverse effects on the river, wildlife and surrounding lands. Ballina Marina Action Group launch web site...March 2007 sees BMAG launch it's own web site.
The purpose of the site is to help focus the community on the valuable amenity and resource that is offered by the site and to help gather news items that relate both to the site and it's surrounding area.
It is intended and hoped that BMAG will represent both berth holders, local residents and the general public in their quest to help protect the site and shape the development.
